Justice to the Palestinians

The UN sponsored partition of Palestine in 1948 was an act of injustice towards the indigenous people. The power politics at the international level and Israeli im perialism have reduced the Palestinians to the status of Red Indians enclosed within their reservations or the South African blacks confined to their Bantustans.

From a fledgling ministate of 1948 Israel has grown up into a mighty regional miniempire. What is the ultimate goal of Israeli policy in the Middle East? It appears to me that so long as the Big Brother is behind its back Israel will not give up its ambition of incorporating the whole of Palestine into the Israeli empire. The historic double standards of the great powers are to be blamed. They speak of universal human rights, international rule of law, justice and all that. But are these principles applicable to the Palestinians? Surely, the aim of Israel is to reduce the Palestinians into the hewers of wood and drawers of water within their own homeland.

Now it is the turn of the international community to rise in defence of the oppressed people of Palestine. #
